ABOUT US

Bringing Your Stories to Life
I’m Kaitlyn Marino-Walker - the Owner & Creative Director of Royal Street Events Co. I am a wife, a fur mama, a creator, & your future wedding & event bestie!
After 10+ years of experience in the service & events industry & obtaining my degree in Business, I found my passion for weddings when I planned my own in 2018!
But, my love for CREATING came long before that...
I grew up in New Orleans & spent the first 18 years of my life captivated by the arts in every form - I was constantly surrounded by talent that inspired my passion for creating beautiful things. Royal Street has always been my favorite spot in the French Quarter because it is a Mecca for the creative community. Littered with galleries, studios, designers, musicians, street performers, antique shops & more.
So when it came time to name my business, I felt Royal Street’s essence was the perfect metaphor for events - a collection of creatives bringing their unique talents together to produce a day that represents who YOU are as a couple! And as the director, working to find the perfect collective of artists to represent your story, is the part of wedding & event planning that brings me immense joy!
From the florals, to the dress, to the catering, to the music, all the way down to the intricate personal details...I am here to help you plan an event that tells your unique story - by sourcing the perfect creative team to bring your vision to life.
And after all the planning is done, & it's finally time to set everything into motion - rest assured - my eye for detail & years of event experience will allow you to sit back, relax & fully enjoy every second of your day!
It is my mission to curate a planning experience, from start to finish, that you will look back on fondly & treasure for a lifetime! Please take a look through this guide & get a better idea of what services I offer & let’s meet for coffee (or a matcha) & chat about your day to see if we’re the right fit for you!
